Provably Fair

Every case opening on Caseify.gg is decided by a formula, not a black box. Before you open anything, our server commits to a secret server seed and shows you only its SHA-256 hash — proof it can't be changed after the fact. Combined with a client seed you control and a nonce that counts up with every roll, that seed feeds an HMAC-SHA256 calculation that produces a number from 0 to 100. That number is walked against the case's published odds table to pick your skin — the same table you already see before opening.

Rotate your seed pair any time to retire it and reveal the plaintext server seed. Once revealed, every roll made under that pair can be recomputed independently, in your own browser, using nothing but the seed, your client seed, the roll number, and the case's odds at the time — all shown below.
